Support Us

The act of philanthropy is a spiritual act, an expression of caring for one's fellow human beings. It is a belief in the future that the future can be good. It is investing in that future. It is helping to make the dream come true.
-- Arthur C. Frantzreb, philanthropic consultant

Nina Haven Scholarships’ multi-year scholarships currently support 100 students, as tuition and applications rise each year. Last year alone, two hundred worthy applicants were turned away.

Our scholars need your support, and there are several ways you and your business can offer that support.
You can also create your own a named scholarship or support one of our existing named scholarships:
  • Frances Langford Scholarship (for students pursuing an art degree)
  • Marjorie Peters Scholarship (for students pursuing an education degree)
To learn how, please contact Tracey Etelson, Executive Director.

Ways to give
You can securely make your gift online by donating here!
Or by mail: Nina Haven Scholarships, Inc., P.O. Box 1978, Stuart, FL 34995

Planned gifts help ensure our scholarships will continue for years to come. One of the simplest ways to do that is by naming Nina Haven Scholarships in your will. Be sure to consult your financial advisor or attorney. Even if you wish your planned gift to remain anonymous to the public, we hope you will let us know, so that we can thank you now for your future support.

Spotlights

Because of your generous scholarship that funds my education and allows me to succeed, I have been allowed to worry less about finances and focus on my plan and future to give back to my community. I have many plans for the future.

Lacey Lingelbach, Class of 2017
There were other scholarships and financial aid I received, but it was Nina Haven that was the biggest support throughout my college career. Judy Weber’s [former Nina Haven executive director] support and guidance in some difficult times made me realize I was capable of something so much bigger than my original plans.

Tiffany Parrish, Class of 2008
Nina Haven saw something in me back in 1964 and then continued to support me throughout college as I pursued an engineering degree at the University of Florida. That ongoing connection keeps students on track to graduation.
